Best Buddies and Special Olympics are joining forces for a candlelight vigil outside of the US Capitol on Wednesday, February 8th at sunset to raise awareness of our mission and the abilities of people with IDD.
We are meeting at the Capitol Reflecting Pool, just at the base of the Capitol building at the Ulysses Grant memorial at 5:30pm.
The closest Metro stops are:
*Federal Center SW and Capitol South on the
Orange/Blue Lines
*Judiciary Square on the Red Line
*Archives/Navy Memorial on the Yellow/Green Lines
